The Old Cart House offers 4-star comfort on a family-owned farm in Auchtermuchty, accommodating couples or small families with space for four guests in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy a private outdoor hot tub year-round and cosy up by the log fire during cold weather. As one of three beautifully renovated cottages, guests also have access to amenities like an indoor heated swimming pool, a games room featuring table tennis and table football, and an all-weather tennis court, ensuring a delightful stay for everyone.
Auchtermuchty is located on the edge of the Howe of Fife, making it easily accessible by car from prominent cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth, and St Andrews. It is also just a 90-minute drive from Aberdeen and two hours from Inverness, making it a convenient destination from nearly anywhere in Scotland. Fife is renowned for its golfing opportunities, boasting over 50 courses, with eight located at the world-famous St Andrews, just a half-hour drive from The Old Cart House.
If you enjoy fishing, you'll have the chance to angle for trout at Loch Leven, Golden Loch, and in Kirkcaldy. The area also features beautiful beaches and excellent birdwatching opportunities along the East Neuk coastline and Tentsmuir Nature Reserve. In addition, there are plenty of outdoor activities available, including walking, mountain biking, cycling, and horse riding, all right at your doorstep. Guests at Newhill Farm appreciate the convenient access to historic sites in Perthshire, such as St John's Kirk and Scone Palace. This region is also known for its abundant golf courses, lochs, rivers, and numerous outdoor adventures, including hill walking.
The Old Cart House can be booked individually or in combination with The Old Stables and Horse Mill Cottage, accommodating groups of up to 14 people.

Outside: An enclosed garden has a lawn and a patio with a hot tub and garden furniture. There is parking next to the cottage.
Leisure Amenities: Guests of the three cottages share use of an all-weather tennis court, a pool room with a 9-metre indoor pool and hot tub, and a games room with snooker, table tennis, table football, and other games.
Additional Information: Utilities, fast broadband WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. One dog is welcome by prior arrangement. A travel cot and a high chair are available, but guests will need to provide cot bedding.
