Haremere Hall is everything you could wish for in a venue to celebrate a special occasion or get together with friends and family and is available for short breaks all year round, as well as longer holidays. Sleeping fourteen guests in six bedrooms (or twenty guests with the use of two extra bedrooms and extra beds at an additional charge - please speak to the owner regarding the additional charges). Haremere Hall sits amongst one hundred and fifty acres of glorious parkland close to Hurst Green in East Sussex. It is every bit as impressive inside, as it is out with two acres of formal gardens with a tennis court, a wealth of historic features and plenty of space to relax, socialise and celebrate.
Dating back to 1616, Haremere Hall offers relaxed country grandeur in a setting of rural beauty just forty five minutes from London. It is steeped in history with wonderful original features complimented by traditional furnishings in keeping with a property and this age. Enjoy catching up over supper in front of a roaring log fire in the dining room, your favourite tipple in the sitting room, alfresco meals on the terrace and a good nights sleep in one of the themed bedrooms, each with its own unique style.
Impressive and versatile, Haremere Hall lends itself well to milestone celebrations, weddings (please refer to the owner for the cost of weddings) or just spending unforgettable time free from distraction, with friends and family. It is located in the Sussex village of Etchingham (with a railway station fifteen minutes walk away) and close to the many National Trust properties and castles the area is famed for including Sissinghurst, Penshurst Place, Chartwell (home to Sir Winston Churchill), romantic Hever Castle, Bodiam Castle and magnificent Leeds Castle which hosts a busy events calendar throughout the year. The picturesque Kent and East Sussex Railway meanders through the Rother Valley currently running from Tenterden to nearby Bodiam Castle which is only two miles from Haremere Hall. The area also offers plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, horse riding, golf and fishing and the owners are more than happy to help you arrange activities during your stay.
