The Stables sleeps four guests and is a spacious nicely presented holiday home offering single level accommodation that is wheelchair accessible throughout (please speak to the owner regarding your personal requirements to ensure the property meets your needs both inside and out prior to booking). Well appointed, The Stables is located on a family run working farm growing wheat, barley and oilseed rape. There are also sheep, cattle and hens to see.
Nestling in beautiful rolling countryside, The Stables is the perfect self-catering base for exploring the stunning countryside and many attractions of East Lothian. Just half an hour from Edinburgh's vibrant city and only a fifteen minute drive for those who want a day at the coast, there are no end of things to see and do. Golfers are in for a real treat with a choice of twelve courses to enjoy a game in the surrounding area, including Muirfield and Gullane which are both prestigious championship courses.
Locally there is a distillery just five miles from the cottage, which itself is situated two miles from the beautiful village of Gifford where you will find a friendly local shop with post office and two pubs serving good food. You could even walk there and back on the core pathway.
East Lothian is one of Scotland's hidden gems with a stunning landscape that incorporates a beautiful coastline, vast golden beaches and tranquil rolling countryside - an ideal place for those seeking a peaceful restful holiday where you can truly recharge your batteries.
