The contemporary holiday home sits in a timeless landscape in Tannadice, a village eight miles north of Forfar. Built to the highest standard, it juxtaposes cutting-edge domestic technology and picturesque 360-degree views of rolling Scottish countryside to create a home-away-from-home where you feel welcome and cosseted and can truly relax. Spread over two levels, Taigh Gleusta sleeps eight people in four beautiful ensuite bedrooms and features a cinema room, outdoor hot tub, gym, and all the mod-cons you could wish for. It's as ideal for an exciting family getaway as it is for a luxury golfing holiday with friends.
As the country town in Angus, Forfar is an ideal place to holiday in any season. Golfers can tee off at Forfar, Brechin, and Kirriemuir. St Andrews is 30 miles away and well worth the hour's drive for the experience of playing on its historic greens. Angus has over 130 castles and fortified buildings still standing as a testament to Scotland's bloody past, when Clans fought each other, and the English, for control. Learn more about the area's chequered history at the Meffan Museum, Balmashanner Monument, Angus Archives, and by walking the Forfar Heritage Trail. Glamis Castle, home to the Queen Mother, is in Forfar, and Broughty Castle is nearby.
Day trips from Taigh Gleusta can include birdwatching at Montrose Basin and the Loch of Kinnordy RSPB Reserve, walking along the sand at Lunan Bay, and seeing firsthand the natural beauty of the Glens of Isla. In half an hour, drive to Dundee for shops, restaurants, and the fantastic V&A museum and gallery. If you visit in winter, you're close enough to the Cairngorms National Park to go skiing in Glenshee.

The house has Control4 with a remote that lets you adjust lighting, music, the entertainment system, and the temperature of the underfloor heating from the comfort of the sofa, your bed, or even the hot tub. It's slick but simple to use, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.
