The nearby market towns of Tenbury Wells and Bromyard are just a short drive away, offering independent shops, cafés and local produce, along with a wonderful choice of friendly pubs and restaurants ranging from relaxed country inns to Michelin-star dining. Slightly further afield lies the historic town of Ludlow, famous for its annual food festival, castle ruins and vibrant food scene. A beautifully restored detached former cattle barn set in an idyllic countryside setting, Stable Cottage offers peaceful privacy with private courtyard parking and enchanting views over surrounding woodland and gardens.
Stylishly furnished throughout, the cottage features a fabulous open-plan kitchen and living space, two sumptuous bedrooms, two bathrooms and a very useful boot room — perfect for countryside adventures. Thoughtful dog-friendly touches include an outdoor tap, dog towels and treats for your four-legged friends, while guests are welcomed with a generous welcome basket filled with goodies for the humans too.
Outside, enjoy your own private cottage garden complete with patio, outdoor furniture and a luxurious wood-fired hot tub — ideal for soaking under the stars after a day exploring. Nearby, the Pantry allows you to replenish jams, apple juice and eggs during your stay.
Accommodation includes two bedrooms (one king-size upstairs and one ground-floor king with en-suite shower room), a family bathroom with bath and shower, plus an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining space and cosy sitting area with electric flame-effect fire.
Heating is provided by eco-friendly biomass and runs 24/7, easily adjustable for your comfort. The cottage benefits from its own private spring water supply — fresh, delicious drinking water straight from the tap and a wonderfully spa-like experience in the hot tub.
