Stable Cottage lies adjacent to ancient woodland and is set amidst 30 stunning acres of beautiful countryside which comprises of a mixture of pasture, woodland, a babbling brook, waterfall and ponds all of which form part of the small private rural estate that is Hanley Mill. Located in Worcestershire and at the heart of the magical Teme Valley and part of the Malvern Hill AONB, a peaceful and tranquil haven awaits all guests who stay at Stable Cottage with fabulous countryside walks from the doorstep to suit humans and keep dogs entertained and very happy.
The market towns of Tenbury Wells and Bromyard are only a short car journey away as are lots of wonderful friendly pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes from Michelin Star's to typical pub food. A comprehensive guide to pubs, restaurants, places of interest, places to visit and over 16 doorstep walks are listed in the cottage as well as laminated cards with local walks to help you get acquainted with your surroundings.
Slightly further is the well known market town of Ludlow which holds a wonderful annual food festival and also has it's own castle ruins, well worth a visit. Ludlow racecourse and Shelsley Hill Climb and no distance at all and there are numerous National Trust & English Heritage places to visit including Witley Court and Berrington Hall. A stunning detached former stable in an idyllic setting with private courtyard parking.
Beautifully furnished throughout, Stable Cottage includes a fabulous open plan living & kitchen area, two sumptuous bedrooms with two bathrooms and a very useful boot room. There is an outside tap for dogs and dog towels and treats are always left for your 4 legged friends along with a wonderful Welcome Basket packed with goodies for the humans!
Outside the property has a private cottage garden complete with patio, patio furniture and luxurious wood-fired hot tub. There is a Pantry close by where you can replenish your jams, apple juice, eggs using an honesty system.
Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x ground floor king with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric flame-effect fire. Boot room.
The heating is biomass which is on 24/7 and can be easily adjusted if you get to hot or cold. The cottage is on a private mineral water supply, no need for bottled water, it is lovely and a great experience in the hot tub, just like being in a spa!
