About Peaceavon

Peaceavon is a riverfront holiday home beside the beautiful River Avon. It's a wonderfully modern holiday home in the traditional Worcestershire village of Wyre Piddle, with its Norman church and thatched cottages. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the house is ideal for families, extended families or friends. Worcestershire's towns and countryside are on the doorstep for you to discover their beauty and delights. If it's your first holiday here, you may find it will be the first of many!

Wyre Piddle is the sort of Olde English name that raises a smile. Its name comes from Piddle Brook, as the village sprung up where it flowed into the famous River Avon. The village church, St Anne's, is a mix of styles, with the font as old as 1140. A walk around the village features half-timbered cottages with thatched roofs while walking further out reveals the pretty Avon Bank Meadow and picturesque rural scenes. Local walks include a route along the river to Pershore and strolling from Eckington Wharf to Bredon Hill and Strensham Lock. If you're willing to drive or cycle, you're on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Malvern Hills with miles of footpaths and cycling routes to enjoy.

Pershore is only two miles from the holiday home and is bursting with shops and other amenities you'll need for your stay, such as supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways. Pershore also has an attractive and historic abbey. Local attractions include paddleboarding in Pershore and Aztec Adventures waterpark in Lower Moor. There are golf courses and health spas for indulgent days, National Trust properties and gardens, theatres and cinemas. Worcester, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick Castle, and Cadbury World are all within reach for a day out.

Guests who stay at Peaceavon rave about its location, space, and beautiful views. It is wonderfully peaceful yet close enough to activities and attractions that you can easily plan fun-filled days out. The region is spectacular in every season, with regular markets and events that attract visitors from all around the UK. Whether you come for a week-long summer holiday or Christmas markets and the panto, Peaceavon will always greet you like a family friend.
