Polin Croft is a 150-year-old traditional croft near Kinlochbervie in the far northwest of Scotland. The beach is a 15/20 minute walk through the village down a path through a couple of gated fields. The cottage is well-equipped and in a wonderful location for a quiet getaway with walks and nature from your doorstep. One double bedroom, kitchen with table, shower room and lounge with a wood-burner and beautiful views of the sea, beach and the hills both from the croft and the garden. If you venture a short walk up the hill you can see Handa Island and the Hebrides in the distance on a clear day.
There are plenty of walks around the coast from the house or up the road towards Sandwood Bay (walkable from the house or take the car to the car park).
If you want to venture further afield there then Cape Wrath, Durness, Ben Stack, Lochinver and Assynt are easy day trips. There are restaurants in Kinlochbervie, Inshegra and Rhiconich if you fancy dining out, though you will find all of the equipment necessary for self-catering at the cottage.

Additional Information: Utilities, bed linen and bath towels are included. Smoking is not allowed in the cottage.
