This spacious holiday home is renovated to a high standard and is perfect for extended family holidays. With four bedrooms, including a double ensuite on the ground floor, a cosy open-plan living/dining area and a tranquil setting with sheep, deer, rabbits and squirrels as your neighbours, you will instantly feel at home here. At the end of the day, enjoy a long soak in the free-standing bath, curl up in front of the wood-burning stove, or throw open the French doors and enjoy a glass of wine and the famous Lochranza sunsets. If you are looking for a holiday home where you can truly kick back and relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then Lodge Farm is for you.
For a small village, there is plenty to see and do in Lochranza. Visit the ruined castle, take a tour of Arran's whisky distillery, enjoy a round of golf or mini golf. Or take part in some of the outdoor activities organised by the Lochranza Center. If you fancy a night off cooking, you can enjoy a meal at the Lochranza Hotel, lunch at Stags Pavilion, or hop on a ferry to the Kintyre Peninsula for a fish dinner in Skipness. Keen walkers can choose from several routes starting from the village, with a popular option being a 3-mile walk around Newton Point to the Fairy Dell starting right on your doorstep. Deer are frequent visitors to the village, often spotted right in front of Lodge Farm on the golf course! You cannot fail to spot them as you meander through the village and surrounding countryside. Alternatively, see how many seals you can spot in the bay and if you're lucky, you migh catch sight of a pod of dolphins or even a whale as you head along the Arran Coastal Way or challenge yourself to one of the mountainous peaks.
Standing at 2,866 feet above sea level, Goatfell is the tallest peak on Arran, but there are plenty of equally spectacular mountains to choose from. Whatever route you choose, you will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife. With climbing, gorge walking and kayaking also available nearby, there is plenty to keep any outdoor enthusiasts happy.
The island is perfect for a holiday at any time of the year. Whether you want to explore a new walking route each day, tackle the adventurous activities on offer, or simply soak up the stunning coastal and mountainous scenery, you are guaranteed to return home relaxed and recharged.

Nestled in the rolling Scottish countryside this spacious detached house has been refurbished to a high standard. Accommodation is over two levels, with one ground floor bedroom.

Outside: French doors from the living area open onto a garden. Keep your eyes out for rabbits and squirrels as you drink your morning coffee. Off road parking for two cars.
Additional information: WiFi, bed linen and towels are included. Travel cot (bedding not included) and high chair are available on request. One well-behaved dog is welcome on request at an additional cost of £20. No smoking.
