With modern interiors, underfloor heating, and thoughtful extras throughout, it’s a welcoming retreat to return to after a day of adventure.
Located in the small hamlet of Erbusaig, the lodge sits just two miles from the Skye Bridge and four miles from the postcard-worthy village of Plockton, known for its sheltered bay, Highland cattle, and seafood restaurants. The bustling harbour town of Kyle of Lochalsh is nearby for shops, transport links and boat trips, while the famous Eilean Donan Castle is only a short drive away. This is an area rich in wildlife and history, with walking, photography and geology opportunities around every corner.
The Isle of Skye and Lochalsh region offer some of the most celebrated scenery in the UK. Spend your days walking the Trotternish Ridge or Cuillin Range, visiting sites like the Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Pools, or exploring ancient clan castles and local distilleries. Boat trips depart from Elgol and Portree for seal, dolphin and eagle spotting, while fossil hunters can visit the dinosaur footprints at Staffin Beach. Accommodation Comprises: Tingle Lodge is arranged over a single level, offering comfortable, contemporary living for up to four adults, with everything you need for a relaxed and easy Highland holiday.
Outside: Tingle Lodge has two private decked terraces with outdoor seating, offering unspoiled views across the bay to the Isle of Skye and Raasay. Set within the quiet hotel grounds but entirely self-contained, the lodge offers a peaceful and private atmosphere. On clear nights, this dark-sky area offers spectacular stargazing opportunities.
Additional Information: Bed linen, towels, WiFi and utilities are included. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Check-in from 4pm. Departure by 10am. Weekly bookings are preferred but short breaks may be available on request.
