Rose Cottage is an idyllic Highlands holiday home for families and friends. Sleeping six people in three bedrooms, the detached property is in a fantastic location in the fishing village of Badachro, within walking distance of The Badachro Inn pub and with stunning views across the sea to the Gairloch Hills. You may never find anywhere more peaceful than here - it's the perfect place to escape, unwind and recharge yourself mind, body and soul. In summer, you can take advantage of the long summer days with 18 hours of daylight or time your visit for autumn and winter when your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis (or the Mirrie Dancers, in Scotland) are at their highest.
Badachro appeals to visitors of all ages and interests. Many of the visitors to Rose Cottage have been returning not only for years but for generations, never able to get enough of the sense of peace the landscape gives them. Fuel yourself with a hearty breakfast and head off to the hills, or pack a picnic and stroll along the shoreline. Walking is always popular, and you'll find yourself heading outdoors in all sorts of weather as not to miss a minute of the scenery. Cyclists also adore the miles of road and mountain bike trails leading to incredible views, each more impressive than the last. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in Britain and made even better by the lack of crowds. Make the most of the coastline and lochs by sailing, fishing, SUPing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. Badachro is somewhere you can be active from sunrise to sunset or where your biggest physical challenge is lighting the fire and settling back on the sofa for a snooze.
Local attractions include the gorgeous gardens at Inverewe, Gairloch Heritage Museum, the Russian Arctic Convoy Project, and Badachro Gin Distillery. You can go pony trekking and sea angling, see the birds at Gairloch Falconry, take a whale watching tour or a shellfish safari. Busy days lead to big appetites, and meals are always a pleasure with the delicious local food and drink that's readily available.
Rose Cottage is available for bookings all year round. It's as wonderful in summer as at Christmas, and perfect for your next holiday.

Additional Information: Utilities, duvets, pillows, and WiFi are included. Guests to provide bed linen and towels. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Short stays may be possible between November and March, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
