Red Squirrel Cabin is an eco-friendly cabin sleeping two people in either one superking (6ft-wide) or two 3ft single beds. Ullapool is only 2.5 miles from your cabin, providing all the amenities you'll need for a self-catering Highland holiday. Ullapool appeals to a vast cross-section of people, from those who pass through on the North Coast 500 Route to hill walkers, mountain bikers, artists, anglers, historians and gourmands. Ecotone Cabins cater for all but are especially appealing to people who have time to stop and drink in everything the west coast offers. Spectacular views, unique experiences, and delectable food await you in all seasons. It's hard to feel like a tourist just passing through when the community is as welcoming as this one.
Spend blissful days on (or in!) the water, paddleboarding, canoeing, sailing or fishing. Alternatively, walk or cycle your way around the loch or to the mountain above for a bird's eye view of the incredible landscape. Take a picnic and a billy to brew a cuppa somewhere along the way or go all-in with a guided nature walk, lead by a qualified ecologist with over 40 years experience in Highland ecology. Red Squirrel Cabin is an architect-designed property built using eco-friendly materials and techniques.
Outside: A wooden deck has a table and chairs for enjoying your meals within site of the shy squirrels who give the cabin its name. There is also an outdoor fire pit with wood supplied and an area to hang hammocks. Just seeing the light playing on the water will make you keen to get out and explore...or pour another cup of tea and drink in the views. There is parking next to the cabin.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all provided. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
