Craigview is a spacious waterfront holiday cottage in the highly desirable picturesque village of Plockton, giving guests beautiful views over Loch Carron. There is space for up to six people to sleep in three bedrooms, while the layout is as comfortable for couples as it is for families and friends. The cottage is within walking distance of Plockton’s village shop and eateries including the friendly Plockton Inn pub which often has live music, The Plockton Hotel (great for a drink or meal in the sunshine overlooking the water) and Plockton Shores Restaurants serving the freshest of seafood.
Plockton is a place for all seasons. The clear waters reflect off the pretty white cottages and tree-clad hills that surround it, looking stunning in every type of weather. Walking is a favourite way to explore, and excellent footpaths lead from the village allowing you to discover the beauty of the local area. Other nearby routes around Skye, Kintail, Torridon and Cluaine offer a challenge for more experienced walkers. Sailing and kayaking are also popular pastimes for those who live and visit Plockton, and a boat trip to see the local seal colony will be a highlight of your stay.
You don’t need a sunny day to enjoy a beach picnic when you stay at Criagview, and walking along the sandy shore of a deserted coral beach is a highly recommended way to build up a healthy appetite for the freshest of local seafood. The Skye Bridge is only seven miles from Plockton, making it simple to explore the neighbouring Isle of Skye and reach attractions that include the Talisker Distillery, Dunvegan Castle and the Skye Serpentarium and Reptile World.
The Applecross Peninsula is a gorgeous alternative for a day trip, with spectacular views that make the journey as enjoyable as the destination, or stay closer to home and discover the medieval beauty of Eilan Donan Castle - one of the most iconic of Scottish landmarks.
Craigview gives visitors an authentic Highland experience with stunning views and warm hospitality that has to be experienced to be believed. Your stay here with leave you with happy memories that will last a lifetime.
