Acorn Cottage sleeps four guests in two double bedrooms and is a welcoming detached holiday home that offers comfy accommodation for families, friends and couples who enjoy a little extra space around them.
Purpose built with guest comfort in mind, the cottage sits on the edge of the small historic Herefordshire village of Kingsland with a choice of two pubs serving great food, a post office and an attractive church with the nearby remnants of Kingsland's ancient 'motte-and-bailey' castle, dating back to the 12th Century.
The attractive ancient market town of Leominster is just over three miles away and offers a great selection of shops (including those for antique hunting!), cafes, pubs and restaurants. With a long history that goes as far back as the 7th Century, Leominster was once a wool town and today still retains its historic charm with timber clad buildings.
For those with a passion for food, Ludlow is within easy reach and twelve miles from Acorn Cottage. Picturesque and full of medieval charm with its splendid castle, this bustling town offers an excellent choice of eating establishments, lovely shops to browse, an award winning market (four days a week!) and one of the country's most impressive food festivals in September, drawing crowds from around the countryside.
Whether you want to explore Herefordshire, Shropshire, the magnificent Malvern Hills or the Welsh Marches, the area offers an abundance of attractions from National Trust properties to pretty little villages just waiting to be discovered. There are also endless opportunities for those who enjoy walking amongst stunning scenery.

Outside: There is a large enclosed garden which provides plenty of space to relax in privacy with patio (including outdoor furniture and BBQ), lawn area and parking for up to four vehicles.
Additional information: Cot and high chair are available upon request. Wi-Fi internet access throughout the cottage. Unfortunately no pets and no smoking. Prices include heating, linen and electricity. Short breaks may be available upon request.
