Aird Highland House is a stone-built traditional Highland cottage sitting in wonderful surroundings with magnificent views to the Cromdale Hills and Spey Valley. A haven for wildlife watching, it is peaceful and quiet.
Within easy access of Grantown on Spey, Aviemore and all the amenities the area has to offer, the house is also well located to visit the Moray Coast and enjoy the Malt Whisky Trail with its many distilleries. The castles of Aberdeenshire are also within reach. There are several excellent golf courses locally and a wealth of activities available from canoeing and watersports on the lochs, kayaking on the Spey, walking the Speyside Way, biking, mountain biking, and winter skiing. You won't be short of things to do!
The house has been extended over the years, and now comprises five generous bedrooms, two shower rooms and one bathroom. A huge sitting room with panoramic views, a smaller entrance sitting room, large dining kitchen (for 10) and a smaller kitchen/utility room provide generous, spacious and comfortable accommodation decorated in calming neutral colours and fabrics. All bedlinen and towels are included, as well as kitchen basics such as dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, soap etc.
Ideally suited to multi-generation families, we have a cot and highchair, toys and games too! Well behaved four-legged friends are also welcome.
