Bonnie wee neuk is a comfy countryside Cabin full of charm.Set on our 120 are Goat farm, you are welcome to come and see them milked. The goats supply us with milk and I make some probiotic goat milk kefir soap. They are mostly Anglo nubian goats.Our son Robin has a herd of Boer goats. Our farm is made up of woodland,meadows, and some arable. We are situated 1.5 miles down a no through tarmac road. The road is in good order probably in better condition than some of the small local Aberdeenshire roads. It is a lovely quiet spot with lots of wildlife, a great spot for bird watching. There are some more unusual birds , grey wagtails, sandpipers , dippers, kingfishers, redpoles,wood warblers, and a large colony of tree Sparrows in 2025 I counted over 100. We have a Barn owl box in a large Ash tree opposite Bonnie Wee Neuk, which is occupied each year normally seeing two youngsters fledge. It is a lovely thing to see them come out of the box each evening waiting for thier parents to come and feed them. The Bervie water runs through the farm, where if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of our Otters playing. We also have a large den with a burn running through, you cross the burn bridge just before you reach Bonnie Wee Neuk. The Cabin is well equipped with everything you need to cook and eat in. Outside you have a patio with furniture and a fire pit. We do have some nice eating places near by . The Anchor (Johnshaven), Silly flat Cafe and Farmshop ( Inverbervie), Saltys( near Montrose). Both Inverbervie and Laurencekirk have a good selection of shops including Butchers and Bakers, both around 6 miles away. While staying here you are welcome to explore the farm and the river. We do not have a washing machine in the Cabin, but if you need some washing done I will do it for you, just ask. We have our own hens so if you would like to buy some just message me and I will put six eggs in the Cabin for you £1.50. Our farm is a truly lovely relaxing place, so if you want to relax, reboot, and Rewind, you are welcome to come and stay. Aberdeenshire has many Castles to explore and a very beautiful coastline. If you cross the A90 from us you can explore the Cairngorms. We are in a really good spot to visit Angus, Fife and Murray all achievable in a day out.
