Willow Cottage can accommodate six to eight guests in three bedrooms and is located in the heart of the pretty village of Redmile, within Nottinghamshire in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir.
It is located just twenty minutes from Nottingham in a beautiful rural location where you can enjoy canal-side walking from the front door under the shade of the iconic weeping Willow tree. It is also conveniently located close to the village amenities, being just a few steps from two great pubs, The Peacock and The Windmill
Willow Cottage is well equipped and provides flexible family-friendly accommodation. It offers a spacious layout and is excellent for those who enjoy walking and cycling from the doorstep. Its canal-side location makes Redmile the perfect base for exploring the counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire and the village is just two miles from Belvoir castle.
The village has plenty to offer at any time of the year, from sports quizzes at The Peacock Inn to theatre productions in St Peter’s Church. There are also some great events regularly held at Belvoir Castle. The children will appreciate the huge play fort and slide in the local park, which is just a stone's throw from the cottage.
Alternatively, venture a little further afield and enjoy the many attractions that the area has to offer including: Belvoir Castle, Nottingham Castle, Burleigh House, National Watersports Centre, Belton House, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park and Rutland Water. The children too will have plenty to keep them entertained with attractions including the White Post Farm, Ferry Farm, Sundowers, Bingham Leisure Centre with swimming pool and horse riding at Orston, to name just a few.
Locally you can also enjoy golf and fishing in the Grantham Canal (can be arranged by permit).

Accommodation comprises:
Modern kitchen, well equipped with everything to make your stay a home from home, with microwave, washing machine and large fridge freezer. Patio doors open onto the enclosed garden area which is great for when you’re firing up the BBQ!
Comfortable large lounge with two large three seater leather sofas (one is a sofa bed for when the need arises!) and wood burning stove which makes for a cosy welcome after long walks along the canal. There is also a great selection of books, games and a CD and DVD player.
Large master bedroom with king-sized bed and fabulous views across the Leicestershire countryside. Here you can watch the cattle grazing in the fields and pheasants stalking the ground. This room is spacious and has room to put up a travel cot if required.
Second double bedroom with a great view of the canal bank and the weeping willows.
Bunk bedroom which is perfect for the children. Like the other rooms, this room also has lovely views across the countryside.
Family bathroom with WC, washbasin, bath and shower.
Downstairs toilet.
Patio/garden area which is well shaded and totally enclosed. There is a charcoal BBQ for guests use.
