It occupies a wonderful position, overlooking the majestic sweep of Swansea Bay and beyond to Mumbles Head. With the vibrant city only a short walk away, and being located on the beach-front, you have everything needed for a relaxing, fun-filled and action-packed holiday. The apartments enviable position offers guests outstanding views of the coast.  You can sit on the balcony and watch remarkable sunsets, while yachts sail across the bay or watch families playing on the sandy beach and strollers enjoying the promenade and views.

Swansea Bay’s sandy beach sweeps from the marina entrance at the mouth of the River Tawe to Mumbles Head.  It is approximately five miles long and is bordered by a popular promenade.  The bay is ideal for watersports of any kind and national sailing competitions are held here every year.

The Maritime Quarter offers the marina, shops, restaurants, pubs, a doctor’s surgery and both indoor and outdoor leisure facilities. The bars and cafeterias located around its perimeter offer the perfect location for sitting and relaxing whilst watching the yachts, motor cruisers and fishing boats go by. The Maritime Quarter is also home to the Dylan Thomas Centre which celebrities the life and works of Swansea's famous poet; the National Waterfront Museum where you can learn about Wales' maritime and industrial heritage; a sailing school and the leisure centre providing adrenalin-fuelled surfing, water rides, children’s lagoon and an interactive play pool. 

The heart of the City of Swansea is only a short stroll away from the Maritime Quarter and contains all the shops and major stores you may expect to see in a city of its size as well as galleries, a fine market, museums, cinemas, parks, theatres, casinos, and night clubs.   

Mumbles is a charming seaside village and is often referred to as the 'Gateway to Gower'. Being nearby to the apartment it offers several outstanding restaurants, a couple of small art galleries, locally crafted products and exhibitions, some designer shops, a pier with an arcade and rides, a crazy golf course and an indoor skating rink. You can also take a boat trip from here where you can view the outstanding beauty of the Gower peninsular from the sea.  When you visit this beautiful location, you will understand why it is hardly surprising that celebraties have chosen to have homes in this resort town.

The stunning blue flag beaches of the Gower including Caswell Bay, Bracelet Bay, Langland Bay and Port Eynon are all easily accessible from here.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Two double bedrooms which can sleep up to 4 people - the perfect place to fall asleep and gradually awake to the sound of the surf!
  • One en-suite shower room.
  • Main bathroom.
  • Fully fitted kitchen containing fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, oven and glass hob.
  • Large, open plan diner/lounge offering very comfortable seating on two 2-seater Italian leather sofas, a flat, wide-screen TV with digital channels; a DVD player and CD player/radio.
  • Balcony which offers another 'al fresco' seating area - accessed through the lounge.
  • Private parking space is available outside the main apartment entrance.

Additional information:  Entrance to the apartment is via a secure communal entrance at the rear of the property. Key or intercom access only. Access is via a stairwell and is therefore not suitable for the disabled. Please note that this is a no smoking zone and that pets cannot be accepted here. Heating, electricity and bed linen are included within the price.  You are required to bring your own towels and tea towels. Short breaks are available out of peak holiday season.
