The Granary is one of two our self catering holiday cottages on our small working farm, offering a quiet rural stay. We are located 8 miles to the east of York approx 1.2 miles outside of the village of Wilberfoss which has a lovely pub and sports Pavillion serving meals and a Costcutters for all your needs.
We are ideally located for both countryside and coast.
Pocklington 5 miles away is a market town, often referred to as the gateway to The Wolds. It has lots of independent shops, pubs, cinema, street market on Tuesdays and 2 supermarkets.
York has much to offer including the City walls, The Minster, Museums, The Shambles, York Racecourse, shopping and lots more. On the outskirts you will find retail parks with restaurants, entertainment and and a Designer outlet.
There are Park and Ride sites surrounding the City for easy access.
Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo is just over 30 mins drive away and seaside resorts of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington are just an hours drive away.
We can accommodate up to 6 guests over 3 bedrooms. We have two double bedrooms and a bunk room. We offer a home from home experience with our fully fitted kitchen diner including standard oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and upright fridge freezer. Living room includes large comfy sofas with smart TV and patio doors opening out onto decked patio area and enclosed garden. On the first floor we have 2 double bedrooms and bunk room and also a family bathroom with electric shower over bath and heated towel rail.
We accept up to 3 dogs with no extra charge but please bring your own throws for beds/furniture.
We have our own dog walk onsite.
We operate a no smoking/vaping policy except for designated patio area.
We do not accommodate stag/hen parties or events.
