The dog-friendly holiday cottage is in the picturesque Yorkshire village of Moulton near Richmond and an easy few minutes walk from the award-winning Black Bull pub, where your dog is also welcome. A cosy open fire in the winter and open terrace in the Summer making it an enjoyable visit whatever the season.

Step inside the beautifully furnished cottage and be instantly captivated by its cosy and inviting atmosphere. The open-plan living area is elegantly designed, featuring comfortable furnishings , creating the perfect setting for relaxation and quality time together. Imagine curling up on the sofa with a good book, a family meal around the large wooden dining table or enjoying an evening of fun playing one of the many nostalgic board games to choose from.
Start your day with breakfast on the patio, enjoying the morning sun or finish it with a glass of wine in the secret garden looking over the Yorkshire fields as you admire the sunset, knowing that you have all this to look forward to tomorrow whatever the time of day.
You can drive to Richmond in around 15 minutes, enjoying the blissful scenery along the way. You'll probably arrive in with an appetite, so you will appreciate its plentiful choice of places to eat and drink in one of the charming independent cafes, tearooms, traditional pubs or restaurants. Once you've eaten, walk around the market town, window shopping in some of the boutique shops. Admire Richmond Castle dating back to the 11th century, a must-visit attraction, the market square with its unusual obelisk or take a stroll down to the River Swale then sit and relax listening to the waterfalls nearby, taking in the scenery around you.
Richmond also has a Georgian Theatre - the oldest, unchanged working theatre in Britain, a twice-weekly market (Wednesday and Saturday) and two museums, Richmond Museum where you can delve into the areas history and The Green Howards Museum. Outside of Richmond but still within an hour of Moulton View, attractions include Catterick Racecourse, Bolton Castle, Bowes Museum, Malham Cove, Newby Hall and Gardens, Brimham Rocks, and the Himalayan Gardens and Sculpture Park. Other places to add to your holiday itinerary including The World of James Herriott, Mount Grace priory House and Gardens, Kiplin Hall, Easby Abbey, The Forbidden Corner, the Foxglove Covert Nature Reserve, and the incredible city of York with its magnificent Minster and fantastic attractions.
Moulton is just over the eastern border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and those who are nature enthusiasts will find breathtaking landscapes, pretty walking trails and opportunities for outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, and horseback riding or maybe you fancy Sup Boarding , canoeing, open water swimming, kayaking or diving only a 10 minute drive from the door. The Yorkshire Dales is renowned for the beauty of its footpaths and the scale of its cycling routes and mountain bike trails. Whether you're a serious hiker or a weekend wanderer, there's a route for you. As well as the Yorkshire Dales you are not far from The North York Moors National Park or the coast which is around an hour's drive away. You may want to visit the famous Whitby for a stroll around the ruins of the Abbey, then spend the afternoon on the beach finishing with fabulous Yorkshire Fish and Chips, or maybe visit the pretty Yorkshire seaside village of Staithes and its colourful houses near the beach front.

Moulton View is a private, semi-detached cottage with accommodation over two levels and far-reaching views from the house and the garden.
Outside: There is a communal grassed garden area at the front of the house and a small private patio that has a bistro table to seat four people. There is a large table with four chairs on the lower decking sitting beside a water feature. There is a hose pipe for hosing off dogs, bikes or footwear. Above is a secret garden which is fully decked and accessed by a spiral staircase. A rattan sofa and two chairs with coffee table and storage box containing cushions for the seating.
Parking: Designated parking for one vehicle in front of a garage. There is a short 30-40 second walk to the cottage.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, bath towels and £75 cleaning costs included in the price. A welcome basket is provided. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. Smoking is not allowed at the property.

We welcome one large dog or up to three small dogs. Please enquire. Accessibility - Moulton View is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Parking is about 30-40 seconds walk from the door and a set of 4 low cobbled wide steps leading up to another set of 2, and a small set of concrete steps leading to the path.
