About Moor Side Holiday Let

Moor Side is a large, comfortable holiday home in the Yorkshire village of Boston Spa. There is plenty of space for up to nine people to sleep in four bedrooms with a layout ideal for big families, extended families and friends of all ages. All of the shops and amenities you need for a self-catering stay are within walking distance or at least a very short drive. It's a fantastic choice for a holiday as it's handy for the A1 and in easy reach of some of the area's best sights and most popular attractions, so you can explore far and wide to see why Yorkshire is a year-round favourite holiday destination.

Boston Spa is small enough that you get the sense of living in a village yet big enough that you don't have to travel for the essentials. With three pubs, two farm shops, a supermarket and the option to have your groceries delivered from Sainsbury's or Morrison's, you can relax knowing that you won't have to drive for miles down a country lane if you run out of milk! Boston Spa is beside the River Wharfe with an arched stone bridge linking it to the village of Thorp Arch. The Wharfe Valley is renowned for its beautiful walks, including a scenic circular route from Boston Spa to Wetherby beside the river and through the picturesque countryside.

There's no danger of running out of things to do when you stay at Moor Side. It's within driving distance of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. As well as walking, cycling, mountain biking, golf and fishing, there are family-friendly attractions like Flamingo Land in Malton and Lightwater Valley in Ripon. Leeds, York and Harrogate are around half an hour's drive away, putting you close to all the shops, historic sites, theatres, restaurants and other city temptations. If you're yearning for a day at the seaside, Filey, Whitby, Scarborough, and Bridlington are just over an hour from your holiday home.

Accommodation Comprises:

Moor Side is a spacious holiday home on a quiet residential street with a garden and off-street parking. Accommodation is over two levels.

Downstairs:

  • Carpeted living room with comfortable seating and a TV with Freeview channels and a sky dish so people can bring their own box if they wish.
  • Second living room/snug with a sofa and a TV with Freeview channels.
  • Separate dining room with an extendable dining table and eight upholstered dining chairs.
  • Well-equipped kitchen with all of the utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery necessary for self-catering. There's lots of space to store groceries and prepare meals.
  • Triple/family with a double bed and a single bed, bedside tables and ample storage so you can unpack and feel at home. A door opens into the garden.
  • Cloakroom with a WC and a handbasin.

Upstairs:

  • Master bedroom with a double bed and proper storage. It has a stone tiled ensuite with a bath and a shower, WC and a handbasin.
  • Two twin bedrooms, each carpeted with two single beds and storage.
  • Family bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC and a handbasin.

Outside: Rear garden with seating and a summer house. There is off-road parking for three cars with free parking on the road outside the house.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Short breaks and longer stays are possible, depending on availability. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Sorry but no hen or stag parties.
