About East Yorkshire Retreat

East Yorkshire Retreat is a place where you can forget about the hustle and stress of your daily life and relax in a tranquil environment with your favourite people. The holiday home is well-equipped for a self-catering holiday but is only half a mile from the Blue Bell Inn and just over a mile from the Railway Inn - both ideal for a pint and a tasty pub meal if you don't want to cook. There is plenty of space inside, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and generously sized living spaces. The private garden is equally impressive and features an outdoor hot tub, a BBQ and outdoor eating area, and lots of room to run and play. It's an excellent choice for a family holiday, reuniting with friends, or accommodating wedding guests. Being just 10 minutes from the coast and 20 minutes from Hull, it's also ideal for hen and stag weekends.

You can do it all when you stay in this fantastic holiday home. If you want a day of shopping or a night on the town, Hull has a great choice of restaurants, pubs and events ranging from comedy shows to darts and street food nights. There are free museums and art galleries, an award-winning aquarium, heritage walking trails, and lots more to keep everyone entertained even in poor weather. Hornsea is only 15 minutes by car from East Yorkshire Retreat. It's a lovely sandy beach with a promenade, seaside amusements, shops and places to eat. It's a far cry from Hornsea's days as a smuggling hotspot when even the church was used to hide contraband. Visit the Hornsea Folk Museum and take the kids to Honeysuckle Farm, where they can feed and pet the farm animals. Other beaches on the East Riding Coast include Mappleton and Withernsea.

The rural location means you have stunning countryside walks on your doorstep. An easy walk circular walk starts opposite the village pub to Bog Wood, Roe Hill, Fox Covert and Cock Hill. Local attractions include clay pigeon shooting and the Let Loose! Adventure Park, and a choice of golf courses. Hornsea Mere is a favourite spot for bird watchers, and there are more lovely routes near Beverley, around 20 minutes away.

East Yorkshire Retreat welcomes groups all year round for a minimum two-night stay.
