Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Great Bedwyn offers a good range of amenities close at hand with a village shop, bakery and two pubs (one with a great restaurant). Stroll out of an evening and enjoy a meal out or walk along the street to get your paper and fresh bread before breakfast.

Wilton Windmill (the windmill that still works) is also located in Wiltshire.
The Kennet and Avon Canal runs nearby with fantastic walks along the tow path - why not take a gentle stroll along the canal with many interesting sights to see and things to do. Caen Hill flight of twenty nine locks at Devizes is well worth a visit and there are plenty of inns along the canal way to gain refreshment. You can also take a trip on a narrow boat from Pewsey and Hungerford and also Devizes which is a little further away.
The historic town of Marlborough is just seven miles away providing a good choice of shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Hungerford with its antique shops is also nearby and just five miles away.
