Some of the extras provided include a television in the master bedroom, WiFi, bathrobes, toiletries and a breakfast hamper. In the summer enjoy alfresco meals in the private courtyard garden and in the winter curl up with a book in front of the real log fire. Coachmans is a cottage for all seasons, with private off road parking for one car.
Steeple Ashton is a quintessential gem of a conservation village in West Wiltshire. The traditional English pub serves excellent food, and, run by locals, the village shop is well stocked with all you need, the magnificent Church and numerous period properties are all a short, level walk from Coachmans. Bring your boots and enjoy some wonderful walking, The White Horse Trail passes through Steeple Ashton.
There is much to wonder at in this area, too much to list here. Bath, Salisbury and Wells. Stonehenge, Avebury, the chalk White Horses. Longleat, Stourhead, Bowood and Dyrham Park. Lacock, Bradford on Avon and Castle Combe. Lesser known gems include The National Trust Courts Gardens, The Italianate Peto Gardens; Great Chalfield, Westwood and Sheldon Manors, all film locations; Hungerford and Nunny Castles to name but a few. Boat and cycle hire is available on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
