Bring your boots and enjoy some wonderful walking, The White Horse Trail passes through Steeple Ashton.
There is much to wonder at in this area, too much to list here. Bath, Salisbury and Wells. Stonehenge, Avebury, the chalk White Horses. Longleat, Stourhead, Bowood and Dyrham Park. Lacock, Bradford on Avon and Castle Combe. Lesser known gems include The National Trust Courts Gardens, The Italianate Peto Gardens; Great Chalfield, Westwood and Sheldon Manors, all film locations; Hungerford and Nunny Castles to name but a few.
