All Saints Cottage is a secluded single storey holiday cottage that provides an ideal base for those who enjoy walking, relaxing or who want to explore Wiltshire. Offering comfy open-plan self-catering, All Saints Cottage is ideal all year round. There is a nice sense of space inside accentuated by high ceilings, and French doors letting the light in and providing access outside into the garden where guests can relax in the warmer months (a real delight in the spring when the adjoining bluebell woods are ablaze with colour!).
There are plenty of things to see and do in this area including country pursuits and prehistoric sites such as Avebury, Silbury Hill and iconic Stonehenge. There are also some wonderful cities and towns to visit which offer a wealth of attractions, places to eat and shopping opportunities including Marlborough, Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral, the Roman city of Bath, Hungerford, Devizes with the canal running through, Newbury with its famous race course and Oxford and Winchester with are both slightly further afield.
If you enjoy areas of natural beauty and historical houses then you can visit Wilton House, Longleat House and Safari Park, Heale House, Savernake Forest, the New Forest, Stourhead or the National Trust village of Lacock to name just a few! There are also many nature reserves within easy reach of the cottage for wildlife enthusiasts.
Locally there is a farm shop and restaurant (the Woodborough Garden Centre) which is only half a mile from the cottage - a good place for a traditional hearty breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. From here you can also arrange a trip up in a hot air balloon - a wonderful way of seeing the landscape. There is a pub which is less than a mile (the Seven Stars) and also another within two miles (the Barge Inn at Honeystreet) that affords a riverside position on the Kennet and Avon Canal - popular with walkers and those visiting to see the crop circle. The large village of Pewsey is just three miles and offers a good selection of local shops, pubs and a station providing access by train into London Paddington. Alternatively, the lovely market town of Marlborough is just fifteen minutes away which again offers a good selection of facilities.
