The Annexe at Coppins Cottage sleeps 2 and sits in the beautiful Suffolk countryside surrounded by trees and farmland beyond. It is separate but near the original cottage built in 1700. The Annexe is self contained with its own kitchen, shower room and living room. It has its own decking area overlooking part of our 4 acres of meadow, all of which you are welcome to share and stroll around. Relax a while in the small summerhouse and if the time is right you may see our visiting Barn Owl hunting for its supper
The decking is a perfect spot for an evening glass of wine watching the sun set, or catching a glimpse of the deer, barn owl, buzzards and a myriad of other birds and wildlife. If its chilly you can get the same vista from inside through the large glazed doors and windows.
Mollie is our elderly golden retriever and along with our 2 cats Jess and Leo roam freely around the property. They are not allowed in the Annexe - however much they may try to convince you otherwise!
We are situated down a narrow lane with no near neighbours, however the A140 is just a few minutes away giving easy access to many parts of East Anglia. There are 3 good eating pubs. a vegetarian restaurant and a fine dining restaurant all within 5 mins drive. The small market towns of Eye and Diss are nearby with some small independent shops. Ipswich, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Framlingham (of Ed Sheeran Castle on the Hill fame!) are all about 40 mins away. Southwold, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings can all be accessed in under an hour. It is the perfect spot for visiting the local towns and villages or accessing much of East Anglia.

The Annexe is recently converted and has a large lounge/diner, bedroom with king size bed, modern shower room and fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, small fridge/freezer, coffee machine etc., All linens and towels are supplied. The usual tea, coffee (instant and Nespresso) sugar and milk are provided together with basic breakfast items of homemade bread, butter, jam, marmalade and cereal to make a easy start to your day.
Please note the price reflects that there is no TV at present and there are still some minor gardening works ongoing to enhance the surroundings. However it does include basic breakfast items. There are 2 steps up to the Annexe and a small step internally down to bedroom and one to the kitchen We are surrounded by farmland and around harvest time there may be tractors working late into the evening - but it can be a very interesting sight!
