Sandpipers is a spacious 200 year old holiday cottage that is located on the edge of the peaceful Suffolk village of Tunstall - a quiet location close to the Heritage coastline and a great place for a family or activity holiday.
The cottage accommodates six to seven guests in three bedrooms and is perfectly located to explore the many attractions that Suffolk has to offer. Conveniently located, Sandpipers is within easy reach of Snape, Orford, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Southwold, Woodbridge, Walberswick and Sutton Hoo.
There are plenty of opportunities for those who enjoy walking including Rendlesham and Tunstall forests; by the river Alde; the marshes at Snape and by the coast at Orford, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. The quiet country roads are perfect for cycling and the area is a birdwatchers paradise with Minsmere, Havergate and other locations just a short drive away. Other activities that can be enjoyed locally are horse riding and golf. Music lovers will find it convenient for Snape Maltings which is just two miles away and a venue for regular concerts and the internationally famous Aldeburgh Music Festival.
Sandpipers sits on the edge of the village which helps to create a quiet rural atmosphere. There is a pub, an art gallery with coffee shop and garage in the village and local shops are located a short distance away in adjacent villages. More extensive amenities are available close by in Wickham Market, Aldeburgh, Leiston and Woodbridge.

- Three bedrooms with a king-sized bed in bedroom one, twin beds in room two and bunk beds (or twin beds) in room three, sleeping six guests comfortably. There is also a futon which can be provided for a 7th person if needed and a travel cot is also available.

Outside: There are large enclosed mature gardens to the front and back and off street parking for several cars in the front driveway. Visitors are welcome to help themselves to fresh herbs (and fruit in season) from the back garden.
Additional information: The cottage offers very good value and is available for short breaks; weekends and mid-week breaks throughout the year including Christmas and New Year. Special offers are available for a longer stay. The accommodation is comfortable and winter heating is provided by a combination of an open fire and central heating. Television, DVD player, radios and some games and books are provided. Prices are inclusive of electricity, towels and bed linen.
