Bethany sleeps six guests in three bedrooms and affords wonderful views over the tranquil Blyth Valley. This delightful three–storey town house sits in the beautiful grounds of Blyth View, a Georgian Grade II listed property in a prestigious development offering guests free access to a communal indoor heated swimming pool, fitness suite and games room.
Well located, Blyth View is just a mile (and within walking distance) of The Queens Head at Blyford. It is also one and a half miles from Blythburgh with its impressive church (known as The Cathedral of the Marshes), shop and pub serving food. Other neighbouring villages also offer lovely pubs (including two 'Suffolk’s pub grub of the year' winners).
The Heritage coastal towns of Aldeburgh (twenty five minutes by car) and Southwold (twelve minutes) are within easy reach and provide great day trips out. Southwold is one of Suffolk's most popular seaside resorts on the east coast and is a haven for birdlife being surrounded by marshes, reed beds, creeks and flanked by the Blyth estuary to the south. Home to the famous Adnams Brewery, Southwold is a must with beer lovers. It is also famous for its award winning pier, lighthouse, beach amber and lovely little beach huts that line the promenade, all adding to its charm.
Aldeburgh is a vibrant Victorian seaside resort and another favourite seaside escape with its great boutiques to browse and wide selection of pubs serving local ales and restaurants. It also offers arguably the best fish and chips you will get on the east coast! Aldeburgh's estuary, marshes and shingle beach are home to a wide variety of wildlife and there are golf courses and yacht clubs just a short drive from the town. A short drive from Aldeburgh is Snape Maltings with its concert hall that hosts events including the annual Aldeburgh Music Festival (June) and the Proms (August).
For those wanting to explore the wider area, Beccles (the gateway to the Broads) is a thirty minute drive, as is Lowestoft and Laxfield with the Kings Head Pub.
