Little Barn is a lovely holiday cottage that is perfect for couples or families. The two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to four people - or six with the sofabed in the living room - and enjoys beautiful views over the Staffordshire countryside. It is one of two charming self-catering properties in the grounds of a farmhouse, where the owner also offers B&B accommodation. With beautiful walks from the door, including one to the welcoming Roebuck Inn just 200 yards away, it's a favourite choice in all seasons.
Staffordshire is the perfect county for a walking holiday, cycling holiday, foodie holiday, shopping holiday...you get the picture! This cottage is within easy reach of the Peak District, with places like Swincscoe and Leek about half an hour's drive from the door. The Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is even closer, with excellent mountain bike trails and bike hire in Birches Valley. North Staffordshire has a variety of memorable footpaths with spectacular views, with popular walks including those around The Roaches and the Churnet Valley.
Trentham Gardens is about eight miles from the cottage. It is a family-favourite attraction with a Monkey Forest, Treetop Adventure, beautiful gardens, and a shopping village where 77 independent traders sell locally produced food, drink and crafts, as well as a variety of homewares, gifts and clothing. Staffordshire is known worldwide for its incredible pottery with one of the most famous factories, Wedgewood, less than a 15-minute drive away. Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent are both less than 10 miles from the door, while serious shoppers will be delighted to know they can reach the Bullring in Birmingham in around 45 minutes.
There is a wealth of attractions within easy reach of Little Barn. Thrillseekers are only 20 minutes away from the time of their life at Alton Towers, while those who prefer a more relaxed pace can visit National Trust properties like nearby Shugborough Estate.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Short breaks are possible, depending on availability. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome through prior arrangement. Little Barn is a no-smoking property.
