About Adbaston Barn

Adbaston Barn is wonderfully idyllic. Tucked away in the rural village of Adbaston, it is beautifully renovated and furnished to offer very comfortable accommodation for four people in two king-sized bedrooms. The barn is situated at the end of a long drive with no passing traffic to disturb your sleep. The market towns of Ecceshall and Newport are around ten miles away, with a good variety of pubs, cafes, and an award-winning butchers and cookery school (Perrys of Ecceshall). The walk up the Wrekin is great for kids and dogs and has panoramic views at the top, or alternatively Bishops Wood is around the corner, just a short cycle away.

Accommodation Comprises:

Adbaston Barn is a red brick building with an open-plan living area, vaulted ceilings with oak beams, and accommodation on one level.

  • Seating area with a comfortable sofa and a high-back armchair positioned to face the log burner and the Smart TV. A tiled floor is practical and comfortable, especially for guests who bring a dog. The open plan layout allows views through windows on both sides of the barn.
  • Dining table with seating for four people.
  • Fitted kitchen well-equipped for self-catering. The design makes excellent use of the available space with appliances, including an integrated oven, dishwasher, and washing machine.
  • Bedroom one has an elegant king-sized sleigh bed, bedside tables with reading lights, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a full-length mirror. The bedrooms are fully carpeted for cosy toes in winter.
  • Second bedroom with a king-sized sleigh bed and proper storage. Beds are made up for the arrival of guests, and bathroom towels are provided.
  • Family bathroom with a walk-in corner shower, WC and a handbasin. Complimentary toiletries are included.

Outside: There is a level area of lawn next to the cottage with an outdoor seating area and fire pit. Guests are welcome to use the all-weather tennis court and explore the footpaths to the lake. There is parking for up to two cars.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, bath towels and one basket of logs are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement. There will be stabling on site from March 2022 - please email the owner for more information. Smoking is not permitted.
