Redshank is a new holiday cottage in a pristine rural setting in the Seven Sisters Country Park near Seaford. Owned by the Seven Sisters Country park and managed by Cuckmere Cottages, your stay will contribute to the upkeep of this iconic part of the South Downs National Park. The largest is Redshank, which is completely detached and sleeps six people in three bedrooms, perfect for families and friends. If you're on holiday with your extended family or are planning a walking, photography, or wellness retreat, the cottages can be booked (with camping facilities, if necessary) to ensure complete privacy. There's an open fire in the living room, a log burner in the dining room, and gorgeous views from every window. What makes this location even more peaceful is that it's vehicle-free. The host will deliver to the door, collecting you at the end of what's sure to be an incredible holiday.
Seaford is a coastal village just inside the eastern border of the South Downs National Park. With the South Downs Way, Seven Sisters Cliffs, and Cuckmere Haven virtually on your doorstep, you'll want to have your favourite walking boots! The location may be secluded, but it's easy to reach whether you drive to the collection point or arrive via public transport. Take the train from London to Eastbourne, or from Lewes to Seaford, or the bus directly from Brighton or Eastbourne and you'll be here before you know it!
The Seven Sisters Country Park isn't only beautiful during the day. At night, it becomes one of only 21 International Dark Sky Reserves. You might be surprised to see such bright and brilliant stars in the south-east of England, but it's just another feature that makes Redshank such a special place to stay. Other activities and attractions include the Cuckmere River, kayaking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, horse riding, and boat trips. Mix your holiday with a day of shopping and sightseeing in Brighton, or take in a show in the Victorian seaside town of Eastbourne. You can also visit Rathfinny Vineyard and the Clergy House in Alfriston.
With guests calling Cuckmere Cottages "exceptional" and the location "lost in nature", you won't want to delay booking your stay.
