For those who can tear themselves away from the tranquility of The Barn, Compton Dundon is well placed for visiting a host of attractions and has a village pub for a meal out. Glastonbury with its world famous festival and magnificent abbey is only a ten minute drive away, as is Street where Clarks shopping village can be found. The medieval city of Wells with its historic walls and spectacular cathedral is under half an hour away or spend your days visiting Bristol, the Somerset Levels, Quantock Hills, Somerset and Devon's coastline, the beautiful Blackdown Hills, Bath's impressive Roman City and Exmoor National Park.
The glorious sands of Burnham on Sea are a half hour drive for those seeking the cry of the gulls and iconic Cheddar Gorge is a little further. Fleet Air Arm Museum where you can learn all about British aviation is another excellent place to visit and for those who like country houses, Montacute and Stourhead (both National Trust properties) provide lovely days out.

The Barn is home to two holiday lets and is a spacious conversion which provides a stylish combination of character features mixed with modern conveniences.
Bracken is the ground floor holiday home and is featured in this advert. Furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout, accommodation comprises:
- Sitting area with wooden floor, flat screen television, DVD player, hi-fi and comfy seating.
- The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you should need including an electric oven and hob (extractor over), tall fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dining table with four chairs.
- King-size bedroom with flat screen television on the wall (including DVD player).
- Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash basin.
- Additional shower room with WC and wash basin.
Outside: Guests have a private patio area with outdoor furniture and barbecue for relaxing in the summer months. There is also an outdoor hot tub which guests have the shared used of (a booking system operates). The Barn sits within the owner's grounds of an acre which afford lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
Additional information: One dog is welcome in either Bracken or Bramble at any one time - if you would like to bring yours, please speak to the owner at the point of booking to make sure the pet allocation has not already been taken. Prices include heating, linen, electricity and towels. A travel cot and high chair are provided, along with a welcome gift upon arrival. Guests have the shared use of a hot tub during their stay (included in the price). Short breaks by arrangement.
