Sitting at the base of the beautiful Quantock Hills in Somerset, Crowcombe Court with its South Wing is home to two comfortable dog-friendly holiday apartments each sleeping five guests. Rented together, parties of ten can be accommodated making them ideal for friends or families (one or two) who want to holiday together whilst enjoying a good degree of personal space.
Identical throughout, each apartment has three bedrooms (two kings and an additional single bedroom - Apartment 2 has one flexible king room that can be made up as a twin by prior arrangement), a family bathroom plus cloak room, and open plan living with plenty of space to cook, eat and relax.
Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Quantock Hills are a walkers paradise with footpaths from the front door taking you off in all directions, allowing you to spend your days exploring the landscape by foot (perfect for dog owners!). The first destination in England to receive AONB status, the landscape is diverse and peppered with pretty villages, wooded valleys, rolling farmland, areas of heathland with challenging summits, and coastline for those seeking the cry of the gulls.
A vast outdoor playground, the area is popular with those who like to keep active, offering great opportunities for not only walkers but also horse riders and cyclists. It also attracts wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and those who want to enjoy the simple pleasures this scenic natural environment has to offer. Enjoy long days walking or cycling whilst stopping off at a country inn for lunch along the way, or pack yourself a picnic and find a quiet place to enjoy it and relax.
Exmoor National Park is a short car ride away with an abundance of attractions on offer. Visit the medieval village of Dunster with its ancient yarn market, high street packed with interesting shops and magnificent castle (Dunster beach is a good place to let dogs have a blast and is dog-friendly all year round). Picturesque Porlock Weir is another of the areas attractions, or head round the coast further to Lynton and Lynmouth (connected via a dog-friendly cliff-top railway) and Combe Martin with gorgeous sandy beaches to stop off at on the way.
Closer to home is the West Somerset Railway providing a nostalgic leisurely way of seeing the sights. There are also a good number of pubs and restaurants for a meal out including Carew Arms which is just a short stroll from Crowcombe Court.

Outside: Guests have off-road parking for two vehicles. There is bike storage and a wash down area as well as a communal garden area and secure orchard where you can exercise dogs.
Additional information: The nearest shop for provisions is in Crowcombe village. High chair available. Two dogs are most welcome. Heating (storage and electric), electricity, bed linen and towels included in the price. WiFi internet access available. Please enquire about short breaks.
