Llwyn Celyn Cottage sleeps up to six guests in two bedrooms (plus a sofa bed) and is a cosy slate cottage with log burner and secure bike storage for up to five bikes nestling amongst Snowdonia in the former mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Steeped in history, here you will find a warm Welsh welcome and a holiday destination that is fast becoming one of the country's top spots for outdoor lovers offering great opportunities for mountain biking, walking, kayaking and fishing to name just a few of the activities on offer.
Whether you are looking for a holiday packed full of outdoor adventure or want to explore the stunning coastline and enjoy lazy days on the golden beaches, you will not be disappointed. Alternatively, soak up the stunning scenery and take a journey on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway - a fourteen mile route which runs from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
With its roots firmly in slate mining, many of the quarries are now home to outdoor activities for holiday makers including super tracks and trails for bikers with something for all energy levels. Try your hand at kayaking, caving, climbing or enjoy the thrill of the zip-wires or the down-hill mountain biking trails at the Antur Stiniog centre which is just a couple of minutes from the cottage.
Whether you are looking for an activity holiday, a restful break away with friends or want a base from which to explore the national park on your family holiday, Llwyn Celyn Cottage is a cosy welcoming retreat at any time of the year.
