Arthfan sleeps four guests and is a spacious barn conversion that affords spectacular views over both Cader Idris (the second most significant mountain after Snowdon in Wales!) and the Arran Mountain range.
Peace and tranquility abound and Arthfan provides all the right ingredients to relax and unwind. Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the market town of Dolgellau in Snowdonia's spectacular National Park, both the coast and the mountains are close by offering the perfect mix of lazy days on golden beaches such as Fairbourne and Barmouth, and outdoor adventures.
Dolgellau offers a great choice of amenities in a lovely setting with shops, pubs, a restaurant and even a wine bar. The town is a popular base for walking, mountain biking and climbing. Hike or hurtle down the hills, climb the mountains, tackle the mountain bike trails of Coed y Brenin or have a leisurely cycle along the Mawddach Trail to the picturesque seaside town of Barmouth where you will find golden beaches, a lovely promenade, cafes, pubs and a pretty harbour.
The area also offers golf, fishing on the tributaries and horse riding amongst the many outdoor activities that can be enjoyed locally.
With a stunning landscape peppered with mountains, castles, golden beaches, forests and seaside towns, you will want to return to this beautiful part of Snowdonia time and time again.
