Aeronfa is a spacious period holiday rental neatly nestled between Snowdonia National Park and the beautiful North Wales coast. It's in the seaside town of Llanfairfechan, a stone's throw from the Afon Llanfairfechan and within walking distance of the Virginia Inn pub, a Co-Op supermarket, cafe and takeaways. The beach and promenade are a mile from the self-catering cottage, putting everything you need and want within easy reach. There is space for five people to sleep in three bedrooms with the option to sleep two more on a downstairs sofabed that cleverly converts into two single beds.
Llanfairfechan is a scenic Victorian seaside resort between Penmaenmawr and Bangor, with views over the Menai Strait to Anglesey from the beach and the coastal footpath. A long promenade is perfect for a seafront stroll and a mainly pebble beach with a lovely sandy expanse when the tide is out. The town has great amenities that include a boating lake, bowling green, skate park and play area, and is very well suited to a self-catering Snowdonia holiday. The border of Snowdonia National Park is just metres from the house, which makes it perfect for walking or cycling. Go south past the ancient Carnedd y Saeson to the Carneddau mountain range or Aber Falls. The Traeth Lafan nature reserve is at its most impressive in winter when it's home to migrating oystercatchers and the biggest colony of moulting great crested grebes in the UK.
There is so much to do when you stay at Aeronfa. Bangor and Conwy are 15 miles from the cottage, and you can drive to Anglesey in under half an hour. Local attractions include ZipWorld and Surf Snowdonia, and there's a wealth of mountain bike trails to suit every availability. See Edward I's legacy of imposing castles in Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris, take the Victorian train to the top of Snowdon or spend a day in Llandudno. Chester and Portmeirion are around an hour's drive.
Families who have stayed at Aeronfa love that it's so well-equipped and very convenient for top sights and attractions. Holiday bookings are available all year round.

Outside: The enclosed rear garden has a lawn and a patio with an outdoor dining setting and barbecue. Parking is free on the road outside the house but large, or extra, vehicles can park a little further down the road in free parking bays.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, and hand, bath and tea towels are included. The owners also provide an initial supply of long-burning fuel for the fireplace, tea, coffee and milk as well as a small selection box of cereals. Well behaved dogs are accepted with agreement from the owner. Smoking is not permitted.
