Middle Farm Holiday Cottages

Come and stay in the heart of the Peak District at Middle Farm Holiday Cottages. Located in the rural hamlet of Brushfield, 10 minutes from Bakewell and Buxton, Middle Farm has two charming Peak District self catering holiday cottages. Formerly a tenanted holding under the Duke of Devonshire’s Chatsworth Estate, Middle Farm has been welcoming guests for over two decades.

The cottages are a great all year round base. Close to Monsal Dale, with its famous trail, Millers Dale and High Dale, we are in a perfect location for walkers, cyclist and nature lovers. Head in to Bakewell or Buxton to enjoy the charms of our Peak District villages and towns. Or try out some of the many activities close by such as rock climbing, caving, horse riding, gliding, fishing, mountain biking, golf and swimming.

What an amazing week. The location was close to Buxton and Bakewell but the farm itself was in a picture perfect location

Fantastic cottage holiday that cannot be recommended highly enough. Beautiful peaceful location very accessible to local facilities…

We have been returning to Middle Farm Cottages and Albertine for a number of years now. For our family there is no better place to holiday.

We had a very enjoyable stay celebrating my wife’s birthday with family. Beautiful views, excellent walks and lovely countryside

Holiday in the Peak district

The Peak District was the first and remains the most central of the UK’s National Parks. It is easily accessible and enjoys an abundance of varied unspoilt landscapes, open moorland, hills and dales, and gritstone edges. Nearby are attractive villages and small towns, such as Bakewell and Buxton, each with their unique traditional activities and festivals.

Visit the nearby famous historic houses including Chatsworth House, Haddon Eyam Hardwick Ilam and Tissington Halls as well as ancient sites such as The Nine Ladies, Arbor Low and Peveril Castle. The Derbyshire Dales is an ideal venue for those that enjoy activities in the great outdoors as well as sightseeing.
