The Old Chequers is a substantial six-bedroom house with a charming kitchen, brand new games room, and a spacious walled garden, offering group holiday accommodation for up to 14 guests. Our luxury holiday home in South Creake, Norfolk, UK, offers pet-friendly group accommodation with plenty of entertainment options, including a hot tub and a games room. The home has a generous double reception room that is further enhanced by a sunroom conservatory which provides access out to the incredibly private, south-west facing, flint stone walled garden and to the River Burn, which runs through it. South Creake is a small and quiet town, offering both a relaxing getaway and easy access to the popular North Norfolk coast. From exploring the stunning North Norfolk coast to visiting nearby historical attractions, you'll have plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy during your stay. Following the previous full renovation in 2019, we refurbished and renovated our home again in June 2023, along with the addition of a brand new games room.

Our charming holiday home boasts six spacious bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, Bluetooth speaker, wardrobe, and exquisite king-size mattress, to ensure that you have the best night's sleep. Each bed is dressed with the perfect combination of imported down and feather pillows, duvets for temperature regulation, and high thread count cotton bed coverings for extra comfort. With the recent addition of a bunk bed, our home has enough space to sleep up to 14 adults and 2 kids, The Old Chequers is the perfect holiday home for group stays, family vacations, and celebrations. We aim to make our guests feel at home and have taken care to add both necessities and also the small things we often need while on holiday. Guests have the option for outdoor dining, either on the deck in the garden or in the courtyard, where fairy lights will light up an evening dinner. The hot tub fits 8 people at a time and is definitely a guest favourite. Having three young kids of our own, we have ensured that the house is family-friendly. You will find kids' games and entertainment, a highchair, and a cot available for your use on request. The large garden provides plenty of space for kids to play and is well-suited for an outdoor celebration.

The local gastropub, The Ostrich Inn, is just down the road from The Old Chequers. From the beautiful beaches of the North Norfolk Coast to the quaint towns, this area of the UK has a lot to offer. Popular towns like Burnham Market and Wells-Next-The-Sea, with their array of shops, restaurants and pubs, make for a great day out.
