Orchid Lodge is a 2 bedroom holiday home with fabulous marina views from every room (even the bathroom). It's located in Ferry Marina, just 100m  from the main River Bure in Horning. It is a lovely waterside setting, suitable for both families and couples wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of general life. Peaceful, tranquil surroundings that won't disappoint.

 

The cottage is modern, fully equipped and cosy. It has a patio that overlooks the broadwalk and backwaters of the marina where wildlife, boats and big open skies await. With its position as an end of terrace home, the cottage benefits from sun from dawn until dusk. Start your day on the patio with an al fresco breakfast then after lunch enjoy the sun at the front of the house. I can certainly recommend watching the sun going down with a glass of something chilled from the west-facing lawned area.

 

The property gets lots of visitors from local wildlife: ducks, geese, swans, grebe, heron and even the odd otter. We'll supply the duck food to ensure our feathered friends are well fed. Fishing (licence needed) is available in season from the decking that surrounds the cottage.
