Perfect Holiday Home with Views across Morecambe Bay

This 4-bedroom holiday home faces across Morecambe Bay with steps from the garden down to the shore.

The views across the bay are stunning and ever changing – you’ll never get tired of the spectacle from the gardens and rooms at the rear of the house.

Beach Rise has been completely renovated to a high standard and now offers holiday accommodation for up to 7 guests and 2 well-mannered dogs, that stay at no extra cost.

Explore this area of outstanding natural beauty and the village of Silverdale that straddles the Cumbria/Lancashire border. This is a wonderful area for walking and bird-watching or simply sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the views!

Morecambe, home of the Art Deco Midland Hotel and designated site for the Eden Project North, is just 10 miles away with Carnforth, famed for the filming of Brief Encounter, en route.

Lake Windermere is only 21 miles by car, so days out by the sea, in the countryside and the Lake District are all within an easy drive. Or take the train from Silverdale to destinations north, south, east and west.

Beach Rise is available for weekly lets from beginning of April to end of October. Arrival day is a Saturday. 

Short breaks are offered from beginning of November to end of March, excluding Christmas and New Year.

The thought that went into this lovely house has to be congratulated. One can never tire of the ever changing views over the bay - even when there is no sun it is atmospheric and mesmerising. Energetic members of the group walked locally with their binoculars and found the caves. ...It transpires that one week is not enough - you need another week even in the inclement weather. It is all so beautiful and so comfortable,. So, a huge thank you to Dennis and Marcia for letting out their terrific house to total strangers."

"We have had a great week. Weather been warm/hot with a little rain. Had good fun exploring the area and trips to the Lake District. House very comfortable, clean and everything worked. A lot of time spent at windows gazing at bay. Likewise back garden a very peaceful place to have a drink and bask in the sun. Recommend Cartmel and Kirby Lonsdale for at least a half day."

"I forgot to complete the guest book at Beach Rise this last week so I thought I would send you a quick email. We had a wonderful week, didn’t do much other than relaxation and walking the dogs but it was what we needed. Beach Rise is a peace of heaven and the location is the icing on the cake. The house cannot be faulted and is probably the most comfortable house we have ever stayed in and believe you me we have stayed in a lot over the years. We were actually sorry to leave today."

"Marcia and Dennis, What a special and lovely home you have. Everything you could possibly need. Unbelievable location - what views!! Watching the sun set over the bay and the eclipse of the moon at the end of the week was amazing. Your garden gate was an absolute dream for our dogs. They could not wait for us to open it every morning. They loved the beach. We had day trips to Windermere, Kirby Lonsdale and Levens Hall. The restaurant and pub at Silverdale Hotel was superb and we had a couple of meals there. Even took part in the pub quiz night (Thursday). We travelled up in a motorhome so were thankful for the parking space you have. Even though we were visitors your house felt like home. The log burner was wonderful on a cold night. The kitchen diner was perfect. You also thought of everything for when the dogs came off the beach - from the lockable gate to the washdown hose. They certainly needed it! All the beds were really comfy and everyone got a good nights sleep all week. Family could not believe the views when we sent them pictures. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much for making our visit to see family so enjoyable."
