The Barn has four ensuite bedrooms spread over two floors and provides enclosed grounds, BBQ and Pizza Oven, a climbing/swing set in the garden and a PlayStation.
The Barn has been equipped for long stays with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi throughout the property, dishwasher and laundry facilities included.

Beautifully renovated to a high standard with no detail left unchecked, the Barn offers stylish and spacious holiday accommodation in the village of Bradnop, close to the market town of Leek and on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park.
Bradnop is ideal if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and enjoy a real countryside retreat. The Barn provides fantastic views of the countryside with wonderful walks accessible right from the doorstep. We are situated in a peaceful location whilst being close to all local tourist spots, with easy access top UK attractions nearby.
The Barn at Wylde Goose is the perfect getaway for families or friends, sleeping up to eight adults in four very spacious and comfortable ensuite bedrooms.
The Barn at Wylde Goose has been renovated to a very high standard throughout. The accommodation is split over two levels with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs.
Downstairs:
On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area comprising of a kitchen, living room and dining room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including two fridges, oven/grill, hob, microwave and dishwasher as well as kettle, toaster and a coffee machine. Guests will have access to all of the equipment and utensils they will need to cook and serve eight people.
Next to the kitchen is a lounge area with space to relax on comfortable seating with views out over the surrounding countryside through the glass doors that open onto the patio. Settle down on the sofa and get the conversation flowing, entertain yourselves with a games evening or take advantage of the Sky TV package.
A large feature dining table is situated on the other side of the living area, which has been beautifully constructed using the original roof beams from the barn, perfect for reconnecting with family and friends over lazy breakfasts and celebratory dinners.
There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.
You will also find a downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin as well as a utility room with laundry facilities and a freezer on the ground floor.
There are two downstairs ensuite bedrooms.
One King/Twin bedroom with ensuite comprising shower, WC and hand basin.
One King bedroom with space for two additional children’s beds to be added creating a lovely family room. The ensuite has a bath with shower over as well as WC and hand basin.
Upstairs:
At the top of the stairs there is another King/Twin bedroom with ensuite comprising shower, WC and hand basin.
All beds are made up ready for the arrival of guests and towels are provided.
The fourth bedroom has a King size bed and an ensuite comprising shower, WC and hand basin.
Between the two upstairs bedrooms sits a snug area complete with comfortable seating plus Sky TV and PlayStation games console.
All of our bedrooms have Freeview TVs and there is WiFi connection throughout the property.
Outside:
Externally there is a patio area accessed via the double doors from the living room, which is equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue and pizza oven. The patio leads to a lawn area which has a climbing wall and swing set for younger ones creating an ideal family space.
There is ample parking for multiple cars and the grounds are enclosed, looking out over farmland and open fields.

Tom and Tara Hine are the proud owners of The Barn at Wylde Goose and began renovations in 2020 with the barn officially opening to guests at the end of May 2021.
They have both been hands on with the entire renovation and have added many personal touches to create a luxurious and homey feel to our holiday accommodation.
Since 2016, Tom and Tara have also run a successful boarding kennels located at their home only 5 minutes from the barn.
We also have Lucy on the Wylde Goose team – the face behind our website and social media! Lucy will be on hand to assist you with your booking and answer any questions you may have via phone, email or social media.
All of us were born and raised in Leek so are extremely knowledgeable about the local neighbourhood and are so proud of our little town and the surrounding areas.

Downstairs:

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including fridge/freezer, oven/grill, hob and microwave as well as kettle and toaster. Guests will have access to all of the equipment and utensils they will need to cook and serve six people.
Down the hallway is a lovely living area with comfy sofas and television.
You will also find a downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin as well as a washer/dryer.
Upstairs:
At the top of the stairs you will find a twin bedroom.
All beds are made up ready for the arrival of guests and towels are provided.
The second bedroom is a good sized double room with beautiful views out over the surrounding countryside.
Between these two bedrooms sits a washroom comprising shower, WC and hand basin.
The third and final bedroom is our king size master room which comes with its own ensuite bathroom.
All of our bedrooms have Freeview TVs and there is WiFi connection throughout the property.
We do ask that dogs remain downstairs at all times.
Outside:
Externally there is a lawn area with patio to allow for al fresco dining.
There is ample parking for multiple cars and the garden area is enclosed to allow dogs to run around. We ask that you please clean up after your dogs.

The Barn at Wylde Goose Peak District holiday accommodation is located less than 2 miles away from the historic “Queen of the Moorlands” market town of Leek which boasts many antique and independent shops as well as cafes, pubs and restaurants. Leek has weekly markets and a monthly fine food market and has its own Leek Arts Festival throughout May.
The renowned spa town of Buxton is only a 20 minute drive away offering shops, markets, spas, a lovely park and of course, The Buxton Opera House.
The City of Stoke-on-Trent has been shaped by its production of pottery for centuries. Factory tours, outstanding visitor centres and museums, and hand-on opportunities including the chance to throw your hand at the potter’s wheel plus numerous factory outlets including Wedgewood, Emma Bridgewater and Denby.
There is also the beautiful market town of Bakewell (the home of the Bakewell Tart!) only 20 miles away with the stunning Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall only a short drive from there.

Rudyard Lake (6 miles) – With a range of activities from walking, cycling, fishing and a small railway.
Alton Towers (10 miles) – The largest Theme Park in the U.K., also with Water Park, Spa and Mini-Golf.
Daltons Dairy (10 miles) – With honesty shop selling handmade ice cream and other products with outdoor seating and countryside walks.
Biddulph Grange Garden National Trust (11 miles) – A masterpiece of Victorian garden design – a quirky, playful paradise.
The Heights of Abraham (25 miles) – Hilltop park reached by cable car, with cavern tours, walking trails, fossil exhibitions and café.
Gullivers Kingdom (25 miles) – A children’s theme park specially designed for families and younger children.
Churnet Valley Steam Railway – With stations at Cheddleton (5 miles) and Froghall (7 miles).
There are so many ways for you to appreciate the natural beauty of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District with numerous countryside walks you can start straight from the front door, and within a few miles you are in the Peak District where there are many beautiful spots for walks such as The Roaches, Dovedale and Castleton to name a few.
You also have the Manifold Valley, Monsal Trail, Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail which are all excellent cycle tracks with bike hire options available.
