Overview

Twenty One – A is a superbly finished, 1st floor three bedroom apartment sleeping up to 6 guests, furnished and decorated to a very good 4* star standard in the southern coastal town of Lee on the Solent, Hampshire. The apartment is a stones throw from the beach in front of it’s sister property Twenty Three – B in a Victorian galleried parade above local shops and conveniences including a hairdressers, convenience store, seaside café and fish and chip shop/restaurant.

Accommodation

The apartment is generously sized with 3 well-appointed bedrooms, a superior quality modern bathroom and a high spec lounge/kitchen/diner. Through large French doors in the main living area is the veranda looking over the street below and towards The Solent with pleasure boats, ferries, container and cruise ships constantly sailing past.

The main living area is large and open plan with a generous sized kitchen equipped with all essential mod cons and centre island dining area, plus 2 three seater comfy leather reclining sofas and a large flat screen smart TV, sound bar and music speaker.

Off the main entrance hallway are 2 double bedrooms with 5ft kingsize beds that can split to create singles if desired and a 3rd bedroom with light well and a pair of adult sized bunkbeds. Then there is the recently refurbished high spec bathroom, fitted with a generous sized ‘P’ shaped bath with shower over, toilet and wash hand basin.

All linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly with a mid week maid service available on request. Child cots and highchairs are also available at no extra cost. (if cots are provided, guests are asked to please bring their own child’s bedding).

Our prices advertised on our website are for up to 6 people over 3 bedrooms, plus we can accommodate 1 or 2 more people on futon style bed cubes at an additional charge of £50 per week/part week per head or we charge £25 per set of extra linen requested.

Prior to your stay we are happy to help arrange any activities you may wish to organise and answer any questions regarding the local area or things to possibly do. We can also help organise catering options at the property be it an ‘a la carte’ meal for a special occasion, a hearty breakfast to see you through the day or afternoon tea. Entrance

  • The entrance door off the pavement is 26″ wide.
  • There is a small step into a communal hallway.
  • The entrance is 33″ wide.
  • There are then 14 steps leading to a half landing, all steps are 7″ high by 33″ wide by 10″ deep.
  • The hand rail is on the right.
  • There is then another 3 steps up to the entrance door to the apartment which is 31″ wide.

Hallway

  • The hallway runs from front to rear of the apartment and is carpeted
  • The hall is 36″ at the most narrow point.
  • There are three steps towards the rear down to gain entry to the bathroom, bedroom 2 and 3.
  • The steps are 33″ wide by 7″ high by 12″ deep.
  • The hallway is lit by chandeliers.

Sitting Room/Lounge

  • The lounge is open plan with the kitchen and has level access and laminate flooring.
  • The door to gain access is 28″ wide.
  • The room has a good mixture of seating with two 3 seater leather sofas and 6 stools around a breakfast bar
  • The room is well lit with chandeliers as well as benefitting from natural light through a large window and a set of French doors.

Kitchen

  • There is level access with laminate flooring.
  • The oven door drops down and the maximum height of this is 43″ from the floor.
  • The hob is 36″ from the floor.
  • The microwave is 52″ from the floor.
  • Work surfaces/food preparation areas are 36″ from the floor.
  • The cupboards containing crockery and foodstuffs are 53″ from the floor.
  • The height of the highest shelf in the fridge is 25″ from the floor and the lowest drawer is 11″ from the floor.
  • The highest drawer in the freezer is 27″ from the floor and the lowest drawer is 14″ from the floor.
  • The sink tap is a twin lever mixer tap.
  • This area is lit by spotlights as well as the previously mentioned French doors.

Balcony

  • The step to get out onto the balcony is 10″ high.
  • The French doors have an opening of 26″ when one is open however it is possible to open the other, leaving the opening 56″ wide.

Q - What time is check in/out?

A - Check in times are between 4 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.

Q - Are towels and linen provided?

A - Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided with linen and towels changed weekly. Additional bedding, linen and bathroom towels are available at the cost of £25 per set, if required.
