THE HOLIDAY COTTAGE
The cottage is a beautiful Scandinavian influenced character holiday cottage perfect for a luxury escape exploring the Peak District. Lovingly restored keeping many of the original features, but with modern comforts. It is warm, bijoux and decorated with style.
Hillside Cottage, is literally located on a hillside, with stunning views out to the Derbyshire countryside.
Whether you are active or just want peace and quiet the cottage is a gateway to both. This charming and relaxing holiday cottage is fully equipped with boutique style interiors and restored character features in a countryside setting. It is surrounded by lush green hills with parading cows, and the outdoors on your doorstep.
The cottage is spotlessly clean and offers all the mod cons in a peaceful setting with a tasteful decor and a sense of luxury. The bedroom has a super comfortable king-size bed, with a high quality mattress with a memory foam top and also a cosy mattress topper, which makes it a delight to snooze after walking in the hills.
THE GARDEN
In the autumn you can watch the beautiful autumn colours of the trees on the fields opposite. In the winter you might be lucky to get amazing snowy fields or a frosty morning views from the cottage. This is a beautiful tucked away little cottage. Just bliss.

We care about your health and safety and are taking every step we can to ensure your safety while this Covid-19 persists.
Our cleaning follows the highest standards and we follow the government guidance on cleaning procedures.
On top of our normal cleaning protocols, all high-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. These include all surfaces and high-touch areas such as door handles, stair rail, light switches, and surfaces. We are ventilating the cottage and washing all linen and towels in high temperatures. We have left out cleaning materials to help you.
Our aim is for you to have a memorable holiday and to be healthy and safe. We will do all we can to achieve these goals.
COME STAY WITH US
The cottage is located on a hillside, with beautiful views of the town. Free parking is available on the street, which is a quiet dead-end leading into country footpaths, so the location of the cottage is very peaceful.
This traditional 150-year-old stone cottage has an original staircase inside the house, so not suitable for wheelchair users or people with very limited mobility.
The holiday cottage sleeps two and isn’t suitable for children (2–12 yrs). The host doesn’t allow pets, parties, or smoking.
