Vilu Reef has a quirky upside-down layout to make the most of its ocean views. The standard of accommodation is high and exceptionally welcoming, and it is the perfect romantic bolt hole for couples who come to experience wonderful West Wales. The cottage is a short walk from the beach and amenities at Broad Haven.
The beaches around here are renowned for their beauty and cleanliness, and Broad Haven and neighbouring Little Haven are two of the best. When the tide goes out at Broad Haven, it really goes out, providing several hundred metres of sandy shoreline to enjoy. Wait until low tide and walk south around the cliff to Little Haven. If you can’t wait for the tide to go out to get from beach to beach, you can walk over the headland. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path also passes the village, taking in fifty eight beaches and fourteen harbours (and some excellent pubs where you will be very welcome to stop and refuel).
St David’s is the UK’s smallest city thanks to its incredible cathedral. It is a lovely place with a thriving arts scene and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. No bigger than a village, St David's still attracts thousands of visitors every year who come to see the beautiful cathedral and the ruins of the medieval Bishop’s Palace. There are several impressive castles and ruins in Pembrokeshire, including Pembroke Castle where Henry VII was born, and the Bishop’s Palace at Lamphey.
The appeal of Pembrokeshire is in its landscape, particularly the coast. When you stay at Vilu Reef you can swim, surf, kayak, climb, coasteer or walk your way around the cliffs. Take a boat trip to Skomer Island to see the thriving puffin colony, or sit on the headland at Deer Park with some binoculars and watch the seals. Staying at Vilu Reef gives you the option of having an “unplugged” holiday without giving up your favourite comforts. With Haverfordwest fifteen minutes away, and Fishguard and Stackpole thirty five and forty five minutes respectively, Broad Haven is wonderfully removed yet not very far from anywhere.

Vilu Reef's clever layout makes the most of far reaching sea views. It looks like a charming sea-side cottage from the outside, but the interior is finished to a very high standard to include oak flooring and quality appliances.
Outside: The garden is mainly laid to lawn and has garden furniture. It is a nice place to enjoy the morning sun or an evening barbecue. There is off street parking for one car.
Additional Information: All utilities, linen and towels (not beach towels) are included in the cost. The property has WiFi and central heating. Short breaks are possible depending on availability. No smoking. No pets.
