About The Maples

The Maples is in a quiet holiday park on the outskirts of Narbeth, surrounded by woodland and with views of the Preseli Hills. It is peaceful and secluded, with lots of space for couples and families to spend time together indoors and outside. You'll love sitting on the deck with your morning cup of tea, watching the birds flit about the branches and planning how you're going to spend your day. The well-appointed lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is available for holidays all year round.

Narbeth is a lovely Pembrokeshire market town known for its pretty High Street with independent shops, boutiques, cafes, pubs and its annual food festival that showcases fantastic Pembrokeshire produce including food and drink. There are miles of footpaths and cycling routes nearby, a golf course within a short walk, and local attractions that include the Cwm Deri Vineyard, Blue Lagoon Water Park, Narbeth Museum, and fantastic Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo.

Spend a day at the seaside. Tenby's iconic seaside resort town is 10 miles and a 20-minute drive away, while Saundersfoot is even closer. If you're the sort of family who really loves their space, then you'll adore Pendine Sands, the vast stretch of beach used for setting land speed records and a great place for land yachting, driving kite buggies, and power kiting. Half an hour away is breathtaking Barafundle Bay and Stackpole Quay. If you walk nowhere else, walk part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path around here for views that will stay with you forever. St Govan's Chapel is along this stretch of coast, but there's a handy car park near the clifftop and a flight of steps leading to the chapel built over the hermit's cell.

Day trips can include a boat trip to Caldey Island or to see the puffins of Skomer Island, paying your respects at St David's Cathedral; hiring a bike and exploring on and off-road; or browsing local markets like those in Haverfordwest. Pembrokeshire always has something wonderful to do and see.
