Nestling within beautiful Staffordshire countryside, are three tastefully converted holiday cottages located at Birchenfields Farm, a family run business. Each sleeping up to four guests (or larger parties of up to twelve if all three are rented together), Birchenfields Farm is conveniently situated within just a few miles from both the excitement and thrills of Alton Towers and the splendour of the Peak District National Park. Whatever type of holiday you are seeking, there are a wide array of attractions on the doorstep including pottery shops to browse, steam railways and outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, walking and climbing to name just a few.
Starting life as a traditional farm barn, the cottages now provide inviting, comfortable, self-catering accommodation ideal for friends and families alike. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed from the cottage front door, including one to the local pub serving local beers and tasty food. There is ample parking for all guests and secure bike storage for those wanting to bring their bikes.
Whatever the weather, this is an ideal place to relax. The cosy summer house is a warm inviting haven for those who want to escape for a quiet moment with a good book, whilst the indoor games room with air hockey, pool, table tennis and table football provides younger (and older) ones with an ideal place to let off steam. Beautiful landscaped gardens front the cottages and provide guests with a great place to enjoy a barbeque during the warmer months.
Not only does Birchenfields provide a relaxing peaceful retreat amongst tranquil Staffordshire countryside, but it is also located within under half an hour drive of numerous local attractions such as Drayton Manor (a large theme park), Stoke Ski Centre, Uttoxeter Race Course, Waterworld (the UK's number one indoor aqua park), Blackbrook Zoological Park, Trentham Estate and Monkey Forest and the historic market town of Cheadle to name just a few. The Peak District National Park is just twenty minutes away providing an playground for lovers of outdoor activities and The Roaches, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Britain is also twenty minutes away offering a great place for walking and rock climbing.
