Weaver Holiday Apartment is perfect for couples or solo travellers who want to experience the best of the North York Moors. The first-floor apartment is part of the former Cote Ghyll Mill and offers a beautifully leafy outlook together with a welcoming atmosphere which immediately puts guests at ease. Weaver Holiday Apartment is in a quiet corner of the award-winning Cote Ghyll holiday park which means that guests also have access to facilities that include a well-stocked shop, a cafe and takeaway, and extensive grounds all within a short walk from the door. The friendly village of Osmotherley is only a 10-minute walk away, providing amenities that include an excellent fish and chip shop, licensed village shop, and three friendly pubs including The Golden Lion.

Whether you're a first time visitor to the North York Moors or you spend as much time as possible in the national park, you'll find that Osmotherley is ideal for discovering some of its best sights and attractions. You don't even have to leave the grounds of Cote Ghyll to enjoy the tranquility of walking along the nature trail and beside the waterfall, while nighttime strolls unveil the brilliant night skies with stars undimmed by light pollution. Exploring further afield is easy with walks like Lyke Wake and places like Cod Beck Reservoir and Lady Chapel within strolling distance. Alfred Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk is also nearby for those who want to stretch their legs along the famous long-distance footpath. Cyclists and mountain bikers will find miles of on and off-road routes such as the National Cycle Route 65. Other activities to enjoy onsite or within a short drive include climbing, fishing, pony trekking and golf.

Day trips can feature a nostalgic trip on the historic North York Moors Railway, visiting attractions such as Flamingo Land and the Ryedale Folk Museum, or admiring the magnificence of impressive country estates including that of Newby Hall, Mount Grace Priory, Bramham Park and Castle Howard, well known for the filming of Brideshead Revisited. Accommodation includes:

Weaver Holiday Apartment is a first-floor apartment with a private front door and allocated parking. Although there are stairs leading to the apartment, accommodation is all one level once you enter.

  • Step through the front door and into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has windows overlooking the deciduous woodland and footpath which leads to Cod Beck Reservoir. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances, utensils, dishes and glasses that guests need for a self-catering holiday. A dining table is a lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast in the sunshine.
  • You'll happily settle back on the sofa or the armchair at the end of a busy day, switching on the 43" Smart TV or enjoying a quiet drink as you admire the woodland views after which the apartment is named.
  • Sleep soundly in the bedroom which is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with reading lights, and proper storage. There is space for a travel cot, which is available on request. The bed will be made up with fresh linen for guests arrival.
  • The shower room has a shower, WC and a handbasin and is accessible from the bedroom. Bath and hand towels and a hair dryer are provided.

Outside: Guests have use of shared amenities that include the extensive grounds and picnic areas. There is allocated parking for one car and secure bike storage is available. The Mill has a shared laundry and boot drying facilities.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome with the owner's agreement and for no extra cost. A travel cot (no bedding) is available - please request this when booking. Short breaks (minimum of two nights) are possible all year round, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
