Post Office Cottage sleeps six guests in three bedrooms and is located close to the historic market town of Pickering, in the village of Middleton on the outskirts of the North York Moors National Park.
Ideally placed within easy reach of the areas many attractions, this terraced cottage provides a welcoming retreat for families, friends or couples who like to have a little extra space around them.
Pickering, with its weekly market is just a short drive away and is a bustling town offering a good choice of amenities including independent shops to browse and places to enjoy a meal out. Often referred to as the 'Gateway to the Moors', Pickering offers plenty to occupy all ages including the Beck Isle Museum for a trip back in time (an all weather attraction), Pickering Castle and The North York Moors Railway for a trip through Heart Beat Country and the chance to follow in Harry Potter's footsteps.
Dalby Forest is nearby and provides a great day out with tracks and trails to satisfy both walkers and mountain bikers, along with play areas, Go Ape for a tree top adventure and places for a picnic.
For those happy to travel a little further afield, the coastal resorts of Whitby, Filey and Scarborough provide lovely days by the sea and for those who enjoy shopping, York City is within easy reach.

Additional information: Upon arrival, guests will be provided with a complimentary selection of cakes from the Post Office Tea Parlour next door. One dog welcome. Prices include heating, linen, electricity and towels. Short breaks can now be available on request. The property is not available from November to February inc. There is a shop within a short walk as well as a village pub serving good food just a short stroll from the cottage. The area has a number of golf courses for those who enjoy a game.
