Dorm Cottage at Bank House Farm offers superb and flexible accommodation in a stunning location within the dale of Glaisdale in the North York Moors National Park. With open plan living, as well as a large dorm room sleeping eight plus a bunk bed for extra guests, the self-catering cottage is just as comfortable for couples as it is large groups of up to ten people.
The cottage is a popular choice at weekends for large groups of friends, families, clubs and outdoor enthusiast groups who want affordable bunk-barn style accommodation from which to explore the North York Moors. Couples will also find the barn appealing and can take advantage of the mid-week reduced rates or the seven night discount.
Sitting on an organic farm, the owners are close at hand to provide as much or as little assistance as required to ensure you discover the beauty that surrounds. Spend your days exploring the myriad of footpaths throughout this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty including Wainwright's Coast-to-Coast long distance path, just a mile from the farm.
The area also has an abundance of attractions for day trips out including the coastal towns of Whitby, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay which are within easy driving distance (twelve miles). Then at the end of the day enjoy relaxing back at base with a large garden with BBQ, fire pit and spectacular views - just perfect for lazy evenings chatting about your days' adventures.

Outside: There is plenty of space to relax amongst the beautiful surrounding scenery with a few patios, fire pit and running water for washing down bikes. Lots of room for children to play and let off steam. Off-road parking for a number of vehicles. There is also a camping barn in the grounds which has facilities for washing dogs if required.
Additional information: Two dogs are welcome providing they can be kept under control as this is a livestock farm (a small additional charge applies). Bookings are taken between February and December (closed during January for maintenance). Please bring your own duvet or sleeping bag. A bottom sheet, pillow and pillow case is provided for each bed. Please also bring your own towels.
Prices:
Midweek - The property can be rented by 2 people for a minimum of 2 nights for £30/person/night, i.e. £120 for 2 nights. Any additional adults in the same party/group* are charged £20/person/night. Children under 5 may be discounted. Please contact owner for details. 2-night minimum booking, 3-night maximum booking due to buffer days for Coronavirus cleaning. *Bookings are all exclusive to your party/group.
Weekends - 2 people: 2-night weekend £300, 3-night weekend £400, Bank Holiday weekend £500. Additional people £20/person/night
