Blickling Cottage sleeps up to four guests and sits just a pebble's throw from the River Bure in Wroxham, the most popular village in the Norfolk Broads National Park. Comfortable and welcoming with views of the river, the cottage is ideal for a family holiday, break away with friends or for couples who enjoy a little extra space.
The cottage provides a warm welcome at any time of the year and is perfectly placed for visiting the many attractions of the Norfolk Broads, as well as Norfolk's stunning coastline dotted with fabulous beaches, and the impressive city of Norwich.
Located in a highly desirable position on the Peninsula development, guests can enjoy excellent amenities including the family run Roys of Wroxham (reported to be the world's largest village store!), riverside pubs and restaurants just a short stroll away. When in season, fishing is available (license required) straight from the river banks, and you can hire boats, canoes and kayaks in the village, allowing you to explore the magical waterways under your own steam. Bike hire is also available for those who prefer pedal power, and the path that runs alongside the Bure Valley Railway provides a pleasant nine mile journey to Aylsham. Alternatively, take a nostalgic trip on the steam train or a relaxing river cruise and let someone else show you the sights.
For those who can tear themselves away and want to explore the wider area, there are plenty of great days out. Enjoy a traditional day of seaside fun at Great Yarmouth, Cromer or Sheringham, see the seals at Blakeney, or take the children to BeWilderwood for a day of adventure that is sure to be a holiday highlight. Sandringham Estate is another popular attraction (not just with the Royals!) or visit the stately home of Blickling Hall the former residence of Anne Boleyn.
Alternatively, simply relax at Blickling Cottage and enjoy everything this riverside setting has to offer.
