About Seaview Villa

Seaview Villa more than lives up to its name. This gorgeous period property is only 100 metres from the beach at Sheringham - one of Norfolk's favourite beaches - and within walking distance of cafes, shops and fantastic pubs like The Lobster and The Crown Inn. There is lots of space to accommodate up to 10 guests in five very comfortable bedrooms, with a layout that is perfect for big families, extended families, or groups of friends.

Regular visitors to Sheringham will appreciate why it is one of Britain's favourite holiday destinations. However, if you're a first time visitor, here are some highlights you won't want to miss. Sheringham's seafront should always be the first port of call once you've parked the car and left your bags at your cottage. A lengthy promenade backs the Blue Flag beach with traditional beach huts in ice-cream coloured shades at one end. Follow the coastal footpath for breathtaking views (literally in winter, if there's an easterly breeze coming off the North Sea!). Sheringham Park is north of the town, where the National Trust carefully manages coastal walks, woodland and landscaped gardens. Golfers can enjoy a round at Sheringham Golf Club, and the opportunities for fishing, cycling and surfing are plentiful.

Sheringham is packed with amenities to meet your every need, including a thriving Saturday market held all year round and an additional Wednesday market from May to November. There are pubs, coffee shops and tea rooms, as well as an excellent variety of places selling fresh seafood whether you want to buy it to cook yourself, get it from a beachfront shack to eat on the sand, or enjoy a fine dining experience.

Local attractions include Cromer pier, Wroxham Minature Worlds, Mundesley Beach, the North Norfolk Steam Railway, beWILDerwood, Holkham Hall, Happisburgh Lighthouse, Felbrigg Hall, and Walsingham Abbey. Spend happy days exploring pretty towns and villages like Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market and Holt, or exploring historic Norfolk. There are no limits on the amount of fun you can have when you stay at Seaview Villa.

Seaview Villa is an elegant Victorian property the owners have restored and refreshed to provide a high standard of accommodation over three levels.


  • Wooden flooring and an open plan layout is a stylish and practical solution for modern family living and pet-friendly for guests with a dog.
  • Step through the front door into the spacious hallway with a high ceiling and original tiled floor.
  • Three sofas ensure there is ample space for relaxing in the sitting room, where the original fireplace is a lovely decorative feature and the big bay window keeps the room feeling light and airy even in winter. The TV has a DVD player and the house has WiFi throughout.
  • Start every day in the welcoming kitchen/diner at the rear of the house which has an open plan layout and French doors that open into the garden. Although wooden flooring and cupboards give the room a rustic feel, a contemporary electric range makes cooking simple, while the cupboard space and American-style fridge/freezer provide ample room to store food, with more space in the adjacent pantry. Other appliances include a dishwasher, pod-coffee maker and a washing machine.
  • Family shower room with a walk-in shower, WC and a handbasin make life simple with a full house.


  • Master bedroom with an antique double bed, bedside tables with reading lights, and original pine floorboards. This room also has a wardrobe and a dressing table, and the original (decorative) fireplace. An ensuite has a shower, WC and a handbasin.
  • Second double bedroom with an antique bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. French doors open onto a balcony which has sea views.
  • Quiet bedroom with a single bed a small chest of drawers that doubles as a bedside table, and a reading light.
  • Family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and a handbasin.

Top Floor:

  • Spacious double bedroom with an antique bed and proper storage.
  • Triple room with zip link beds that can either be set up as a kingsize bed and one single, or three singles. This room has sea views and a TV.

Outside: The enclosed paved garden has a gazebo and seating area, and a barbecue. A gate opens onto a rear lane with pedestrian access to the High Street. There is free parking on the road outside the house.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, sheets and bath towels are provided. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome through prior arrangement. Short breaks (minimum of three nights) are possible outside of peak season, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
